This boutique restaurant interior became instrumental in developing the UK’s brand identity for the emerging US market. This project was done in conjunction with its sister project Bluebird at Columbus Circle. Where Bluebird carried its namesake and character from its London origins; Queensyard was meant to be a whole new experiential concept for the United States. I was involved along the course of this project at least two separate times. I worked on many aspects of the wood ceiling feature, bar and backbar detailing and development, as well as the custom wait stations and entry fins. This was a unique project where we were responsible to our client and the landlord for Hudson Yards. It was a logistical experience that helped me be a better coordinator.
